South Australia Will Have The Cheapest Electricity Price In The Country

Because of an increase in gas generation, South Australia will now have the cheapest electricity price in Australia as reported by The In Daily.

Some bills will still say the same as rates are set. However, John Grimes, Solar Council Chief Executive said that if the power bills don’t go down consumers have the right to get answers from power suppliers.

Oliver Yates, the former boss of the Clean Energy Finance Corporation said more investment in clean energy will further drive the prices down.

If you increase supply, you will actually lower prices and so what we need to do is exactly what this state is doing, which is showing a leading example in encouraging investment in renewables.
