Original Star Trek lead actor William Shatner has added a 6.3-kilowatt solar installation in his Los Angeles home.

Solar Alliance Energy Inc installed the solar power system and says the company is working with Shatner in promoting the benefits of solar energy through a public-awareness campaign called “Join the Alliance – Save Money, Save The World”.

Shatner said that the installation was straightforward and the team was very professional. He also added that they are already experiencing the benefits of solar energy.
