Origin and NAB to Encourage Homeowners to Switch To Renewable Power

Domain reported that Australian households will be able to save up to $2,250 when installing a new solar power system under an Australia-first rewards program that will be launched through NAB and energy retailer Origin.

NAB will widen its credit card rewards program so that it includes the purchase and the installation of solar panels.

Under this initial program customers will receive a $500 one-off voucher from Origin. In addition, a $250 voucher will be provided for the solar panel installation.

According to Ryan Willemsen-Bell, general manager of Origin Solar and Energy Solutions, people don’t need to be an Origin power customer to take advantage of the offer.
