Foresight Solar Fund and Canadian Solar partner for Australian Solar Portfolio

Foresight Solar Fund has signed binding contracts with Canadian Solar in the acquisition of three solar PV projects in Australia that will generate 117 megawatts of peak capacity once completed as reported by PV-Tech.

The three power plants are the 17 megawatts Longreach Solar farm, the 30 megawatts Oakey 1 Solar farm and the 70 megawatts Oakey 2 Solar Farm. Foresight has acquired 49% share in the Longreach and Oakey 1 and 100% ownership of the Oakey 2 solar farm.

We have enjoyed working closely with Canadian Solar, with whom we look forward to delivering a strong pipeline of future energy projects both in Australia and other international markets.
